Alice IS Wonderland is proud to be associated with other events staged/hosted by associated gay and lesbian groups and businesses in Alice Springs. We proudly support the Alice Desert Festival program each year and encourage you to come and visit at that time.

The local social group also meets at the Alice Springs Resort every Friday afternoon from 5.30pm for end-of-week drinks and potentially dinner out somewhere. We also 'do breakfast' on Friday mornings at La Peps Cafe from 9am and every third Sunday of the month we have a BBQ at the Old Telegraph Station.

Alice Springs Desert Festival, Alice IS Wonderland and The Rainbow Connection proudly presents............

In association with the Alice Springs Desert Festival and The Rainbow Connection, we are hosting a Mardi Gras Party in the Grand Ballroom of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Alice Springs on Saturday 8th March, 2008 (also coincides with International Women's Day) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras (1st March, 2008). We are expecting a large number of national and global guests so come along and join us for a wonderland weekend. Book your accommodation directly with Crowne Plaza in Alice Springs (www.crowneplaza.com) and mention the party to receive a discounted accommodation rate and package. Accommodation can also be secured through Voyages Alice Springs Resort, Aurora Alice Resort and Toddy's Backpackers. Domestic tickets are just $95 that includes yummy bush tucker-style canapes, 4 drinks of your choice (wine, beer, soft drink, juice), live entertainment and a fabulous 'come as you are' dance party. Alice IS Wonderland proudly hosts this celebration of diversity and harmony surrounded by rainbow family & friends and the beauty that reflects Alice Springs.

BYO everything (chairs, rugs, food, drinks etc) - just look for the Rainbow Flag and join us.
